Huttoft Beach

Huttoft Beach is a broad, open stretch of sand on the Lincolnshire coast, backed by dunes rather than a promenade, which gives it a more natural character than the resort beaches further south. The foreshore car park allows you to drive close to the beach at certain tide states, making access exceptionally easy. The wide, flat sand provides outstanding space for off-lead running on firm ground, and the dune system offers contrasting terrain with marram grass, rabbit scent and sheltered hollows. The tide line carries a changing collection of shells, seaweed and driftwood for investigation. The gentle slope and flat character suit dogs of all ages and fitness levels, and the natural setting means a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere than the developed beaches.
