Lendalfoot Beach
South Ayrshire
Lendalfoot Beach is a remote, quiet shingle and sand beach on the south Ayrshire coast at the small hamlet of Lendalfoot, where the A77 coast road runs close to the shoreline. The beach has a wilder, more dramatic quality than the resort beaches to the north, backed by low cliffs, and Ailsa Craig is prominent offshore. The Carrick Hills rise steeply behind.
No dog restrictions apply at Lendalfoot Beach. Year-round dog access. One of the quietest accessible beaches on the Ayrshire coast with excellent off-lead potential.

Yes, dogs are welcome at Lendalfoot Beach throughout the year with no seasonal restrictions. This makes it a reliable option whatever time of year you're planning a visit to the south Ayrshire coast.
Lendalfoot is a remote hamlet with very little in the way of facilities, so it's worth coming prepared — bring water for your dog and anything else you might need, as the nearest full amenities are in Girvan. Parking is roadside off the A77, which runs close to the beach, so take care with dogs near the road. On the plus side, the wild, uncrowded setting and stunning views of Ailsa Craig make it a genuinely rewarding spot for a dog walk.
