Prestwick Beach is a sandy beach at the historic golf town of Prestwick on the Ayrshire coast, backed by a promenade and looking west across the Firth of Clyde toward Arran. Prestwick Golf Club, founded in 1851, hosted the first 12 Open Championships and remains one of Scotland's most celebrated links courses. The beach is long and open with views of Arran from end to end.
