Waseley Hills Country Park Circular
Worcestershire
Waseley Hills sits on the northern edge of the Clent Hills landscape, a ridge of open grass hills with views over Birmingham and the Lickeys beyond. It is a dog friendly visitor park with waymarked trails, a cafe and plenty of interpretation for younger walkers.
The 5 km Rabbit Trail is the longest marked route and rolls up and over Windmill Hill with a handful of short climbs and some steps, while the half mile Skylark Trail is an easier option from the centre. Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the park, and the cafe terrace caters to them with doggy ice creams on summer days. Pay and display parking is at the visitor centre with toilets right there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Waseley Hills Country Park welcomes dogs and has a dog friendly rating of 6 out of 10 on Wildpack. The park has waymarked trails suited to dogs and walkers of different abilities, and the Windmill Cafe even serves doggy ice creams on summer days, so your four-legged companion is genuinely catered for.
Dogs must be kept on a lead throughout the park at all times. It's worth bearing this in mind when planning your visit, particularly if your dog is used to a good off-lead run — the 5 km Rabbit Trail does at least give you a decent stretch of on-lead exercise across open grassland and over Windmill Hill.
Leads are required across the whole park, so pack one before you head out. Parking is pay and display at the visitor centre, costing around £3 for the day or £50 for an annual pass, with free parking for Blue Badge holders. Toilets and an information centre are right at the start, and the Windmill Cafe terrace is a handy stop — look out for doggy ice creams if you're visiting in summer.
