Linn Park Woodland Walk, Glasgow

Glasgow

Dog Friendly Rating:8/10A peaceful woodland circuit through Glasgow's second largest park, with riverside paths and plenty of space for dogs.

Linn Park is a dog friendly woodland walk through 200 acres of green space on Glasgow's south side. The circular route follows well worn paths through mature woodland along the banks of the White Cart Water, passing the ruins of Cathcart Castle and a disused snuff mill along the way.

The woodland paths provide plenty of shade in summer and interesting smells year round, with the river offering splashing opportunities for water loving dogs. Some sections are muddy on informal paths after rain. Cars are not permitted in the park itself, but parking is available at Netherlee Pavilion on Linnpark Avenue off Clarkston Road. There are no formal facilities within the park.
