Swanage, Dorset
Yes. Dogs are welcome at Swanage Bay View, up to 2 dogs per booking.
Swanage Bay View is a caravan and lodge park in the countryside overlooking Swanage Bay in Dorset, with pet friendly units across all grades and dogs welcome in The View Bar and Coffee Lounge.
Set in the countryside overlooking Swanage Bay, on the eastern edge of the Isle of Purbeck and a gateway to the Jurassic Coast, Swanage Bay View is a dog friendly park where you are never short of a view. Away's own advice is to grab the kids, grab the dog and whisk them away, because they would never forget your furry friend.
Pet friendly units run across all grades, and dog owners can pick from the Comfort and Luxury Caravans or the lodges. The Luxury Rooftop Lodge with Seaview pairs an open plan living area with a roof terrace, the Superior Lodge Seaview sleeps six across three bedrooms, and the lodges come with 360 views and fully equipped kitchens. The park is open from March until the end of December.
The View Bar and Coffee Lounge welcomes dogs and appears on Away's list of dog friendly restaurants with their special doggy menu, so the day can start with a Costa coffee and sea views and end with a glass of something cold after a long coastal walk. The dog can also call in at Guest Services, as well as the Holiday Home Sales office, and the park also has a heated indoor pool with views of Swanage Bay and a modern gym.
Swanage, a seaside town on the Jurassic Coast, sits less than 10 minutes' drive from the park and welcomes dogs, as do Corfe Castle, with its ruins and views across Purbeck, and the steam and diesel trains of the Swanage Railway. Away list Durdle Door, Poole and Wareham as dog friendly days out too.
