Arvon is a spacious detached family house in an elevated position in Llandudno. It has contemporary interiors, views over the town and a large enclosed garden. Six guests and two dogs can walk from here to the sea, the beach and the coast path, a dog friendly house where the car can stay put all week.

Shoes come off in the hall, and from there it is through to the kitchen diner, where a well designed galley kitchen sits beside a dining table by the French doors, which open to the garden and let the dogs come and go while the family eats. Evenings bring Netflix and Sky on the lounge's Smart TV. Upstairs you will find a super-king and a king, each waking to a sea view, and a bunk room with a double below and a single on top, alongside a stylish bathroom.

From sunrise to sunset, the views from the enclosed garden run out over the town. A paved patio holds a table and chairs, with a BBQ in the summer months, and beyond it are a lawned area for the dogs to enjoy and a lower garden with comfy seating for two. Cyclists will find a bike rack waiting.

The beach, the sea and the town are all within 1 mile, and the dogs can join the coast path from the doorstep. The Orme is 1.8 miles away to climb, with a cable car to the summit, and the town has the longest pier, the Mostyn Contemporary Art Gallery and Venue Cymru. Caernarfon Castle, Plas Newydd and Swallow Falls make longer days out.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Arvon dog friendly?

Yes, Arvon welcomes up to two dogs. It's a detached house with an enclosed garden on two levels, and the French doors off the dining area give dogs a route in and out without anyone having to act as doorman all holiday.

  • Are dogs allowed at Arvon year round?

The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, but we'd recommend confirming directly with the owner when you book to be sure.

  • What should I know before visiting Arvon with my dog?

The enclosed garden has a lawn where dogs can do their thing, and a stairgate is available if you need to keep a dog off certain areas of the house. Both Llandudno's beaches are within walking distance, and the Great Orme headland has a footpath round its outside that's well suited to dogs — so there's no shortage of good walking straight from the door.
