Bremel Barn is a beautiful stone built barn conversion in Ellingham, a tranquil village with a friendly pub, and a dog friendly home for seven people and one dog. Behind it lies a mature garden enclosed by its original stone walls, where garden furniture and a barbecue wait, and the dog will make for it the moment the car stops.
You enter the first of two lounges, a heated conservatory style room with comfortable seating, a well stocked bookcase and a bistro table for watching the birds. French doors open onto that garden, and a second pair leads into the farmhouse style kitchen and diner, with exposed beams and an attractive stone floor. The boot room beside it, with a Belfast sink, coat hooks and a shoe rack, is ready for the dog coming back from the beach.
A king size bedroom with garden views and two easy chairs is on the ground floor, which also has a shower room. On the first floor, the light and airy second lounge has countryside views, leather seating, bean bags and a Smart TV, warmed by a wood burner.
