Byewood has far reaching views across to Hartland Point, and from the decked area in its sunny, enclosed garden two dogs can share the view while the barbecue gets going. This five star cottage in the vibrant village of Braunton was lovingly refurbished in 2023 for a comfortable, luxurious and dog friendly stay for four.
Inside, the light and airy open plan living space is made for time together, where the dogs will find their place in front of the warming wood burner while you catch up on box sets. The kitchen has everything you need for a hearty breakfast before the day's adventure, and up the stairs are two bedrooms, each en suite: a king whose en suite has a shower, and a double whose en suite has a bath.
The garden's private decked area has comfortable outdoor seating and a gas barbecue for dining outside with those far reaching views. A grassed area, shared with the owners, leads to a private hot tub with robes provided, ideal for an evening under the night sky once the dogs are settled. There is storage for bikes, golf clubs and surfboards too.
Some of North Devon's golden sand beaches are within 6 miles, among them Saunton Sands, Croyde and Braunton Burrows. The village has independent shops and cafes within a walk, the Tarka Trail sets off for cycling, and the South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park are close for walking with the dogs.
