Chy Tarow is one of two beautiful character properties on a Cornish working farm, lovingly fitted and furnished, and its fully enclosed garden is ideal for dogs. Close to Cadgwith, this dog friendly cottage takes two guests and a single dog, among the clifftop walks and beautiful bays of South West Cornwall.

You come in from the courtyard through a welcoming entrance into a wonderfully cosy open plan living space beneath a vaulted ceiling, with a wood burner glowing. Everything for a romantic meal is in the kitchen, a dining area waits for lazy breakfasts, and the lounge has very comfortable seating facing the wood burner and Smart TV, where the dog will be stretched out by the time the kettle boils. Head up into the eaves and the super-king zip and link bedroom, which converts to a twin on request, is incredibly spacious, with a balcony for a lazy morning.

Doors open from the living space onto the enclosed garden, where a table and chairs wait for al fresco suppers off the charcoal BBQ, and as the garden is fully enclosed, the dog can relax out there with you. In the communal courtyard there are borders of shrubs and fresh herbs in the planter, and the communal laundry, shared with two other cottages, has a wash room for muddy boots, wet suits, coats and dogs.

The South West Coast Path offers dramatic clifftop walks with the dog, or you can venture to Lizard Point, and the bays at Kynance and Poldhu Cove are close by. Cadgwith itself has a pub, shops and a restaurant, and further afield are St Michael's Mount at Marazion and the Minack Theatre.
