This unique, quirky dog friendly home sits peacefully up on a working farm that keeps beef cattle and sheep, with magnificent views across Loch Leven, room for seven guests and a welcome for two dogs.
The single storey house is entered from the garden, straight into a spacious open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room. This is the dogs' part of the house, as they are allowed in the lounge and kitchen only, and with the wood burner and the large dining table both in it, it is where everyone gathers anyway. The three bedrooms are a super king bedroom with its own en suite wet room, a super king zip and link which becomes a twin on request, and a spacious triple, with a second wet room and a bathroom.
Outside, the enclosed garden holds the private hot tub and a seating area, for meals outside and late evenings stargazing over Loch Leven while the dogs doze close by. It is a working farm, and guests are welcome to help pick the chickens' eggs and, in the spring, to help feed the lambs.
There is direct access to the Core Path route from the property, so a morning outing with the dogs can begin right at the door, and walkers can follow the Loch Leven Heritage Trail too. The loch is part of a National Nature Reserve that ranks among Europe's most significant sites for birds, with the RSPB Loch Leven centre, trout fishing and boat trips to the island castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in 1567.
