Family Farmhouse sits on a family farm in the Conwy Valley, a detached, reverse level house built around its valley views. It sleeps seven, welcomes two dogs, and gives the whole family, the dog included, an enclosed garden to relax in, a dog friendly base within walking distance of Conwy.

Living, cooking and eating share one spacious open plan room on the first floor, with exposed beams and gorgeous views from every window. Family meals happen at a table placed by the glass, and after dinner there are sofas and a Smart TV, plus a wood burner for the dogs to stretch out in front of. A glass door leads from here down to the garden. Four bedrooms are spread across the house: two en suite doubles, a twin and a bathroom on the ground floor, and a single with countryside views upstairs.

Outside, the enclosed garden has countryside views, a patio with table and chairs and a masonry chimney charcoal BBQ, and there is space for bikes, a paddleboard and a canoe. Table football and table tennis fill the shared games room, and a sauna is waiting after a long day on the hills. The grounds of this family farm, home to cows and sheep, are there to explore with a picnic, spotting wildlife and admiring the panoramic views, and the enclosed garden is waiting for the dogs when you get back.

Footpaths lead from the doorstep into Snowdonia National Park, and Conwy is 1 mile away with its 13th century castle, fishing harbour and independent shops. Llandudno, Bodnant Gardens, the RSPB reserve and Zip World Conwy are all close by, and Swallow Falls and Betws-y-Coed sit amid the majestic scenery of Snowdonia, wonderful country for a dog.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Family Farmhouse Conwy Valley dog friendly?

Yes, Family Farmhouse Conwy Valley welcomes two dogs. The property has an enclosed garden where your dogs can roam safely, plus open grounds beyond it to explore — and with Conwy, the coast and the mountains all within reach, it's a genuinely good base for a dog-friendly week away.

  • Are dogs allowed at Family Farmhouse Conwy Valley year round?

The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions on dogs, so it's worth contacting the property directly to confirm availability for your dates. Given the wood burner, enclosed garden and valley setting, it seems well set up for visits in any season.

  • What should I know before visiting Family Farmhouse Conwy Valley with my dog?

The main thing to be aware of is the layout — the living space sits on the first floor, with a flight of external steps leading down to the garden, so your dogs will be making that trip fairly regularly. The listing notes that once you've established a routine it stops being an issue, but it's worth keeping in mind if you have dogs that struggle with stairs. The enclosed garden gives them a safe space outside, and the grounds beyond it offer extra room to explore.
