Tucked away on a farm in the Cotswold countryside, Old Stable is a peaceful rural sanctuary at Poole Keynes, standing beside a Grade II listed manor house and close to the village church of St Michael's. It is a bright and sunny cottage full of history, and a dog friendly hideaway sleeping four, with two dogs welcome as well and fields and countryside all around.
The lounge is airy and welcoming, with ample seating and a Smart TV, plus French doors that give onto the patio and garden, handy for letting the dogs out after supper. The kitchen and dining area is at the rear of the cottage, fully equipped and with a good sized table for four to share supper once everyone is home from exploring.
On the first floor a landing leads to two spacious double bedrooms, both with amazing countryside views, plus a bathroom offering bath and shower alike. Outside, the enclosed garden comes with a private patio and a BBQ on request. A morning coffee out there in the sun, two dogs nosing about the garden, is a lovely way to begin. Keynes Country Park has fishing and boating lakes, and the woodland walks at Westonbirt Arboretum are famous, a fine outing with two dogs.
