Padstow Wagon House

Padstow, Cornwall

A three bedroom conversion near Padstow with an enclosed garden, two dogs welcome, and the Camel Trail nine tenths of a mile from the door.

Six people, three bedrooms and two dogs for six hundred and five pounds, a mile outside Padstow. The Wagon House is a conversion with a patio looking onto an ornate wildlife pond, which is a lovely thing to sit beside and is also the first item to think about if your dog enters water without being invited.

The Camel Trail begins nine tenths of a mile off and we rate it an eight: eighteen level, traffic free miles running along the estuary. Harlyn Bay at two and a tenth takes a nine, Daymer Bay at two and two tenths an eight, and the coast walk from Polzeath round to Port Isaac three and three tenths. Between the trail and the north coast beaches, a dog here has the all weather option and the spectacular one both inside three miles.

One bathroom between six is the trade at this price. The enclosed garden and the patio give two dogs ground of their own, and Padstow's harbour, its restaurants and the ferry across to Rock are a mile away. The pond earns its second mention: charming to sit beside, and a thing to have thought about before the first morning.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is Padstow Wagon House dog friendly?

Yes, Padstow Wagon House welcomes up to two dogs. The property has an enclosed garden and a patio that give your dogs space of their own, and with the Camel Trail less than a mile away and several north coast beaches within three miles, there's excellent walking on the doorstep.

  • Are dogs allowed at Padstow Wagon House year round?

The listing doesn't specify seasonal restrictions on dogs, and the mix of walks available — the traffic-free Camel Trail and nearby beaches like Harlyn Bay and Daymer Bay — makes it a practical choice across the seasons. We'd recommend confirming year-round availability directly with the owner when you book.

  • What should I know before visiting Padstow Wagon House with my dog?

The property has an ornate wildlife pond in the garden, which is well worth being aware of before your first morning if your dog is inclined to take an uninvited swim. Beyond that, the enclosed garden gives two dogs a secure space to roam, and the Camel Trail — eighteen level, traffic-free miles along the estuary — begins just nine tenths of a mile from the door.
