Rochester House Barn is a charming barn cottage in the hamlet of Rochester, whose history goes back to Roman times, set in the Cheviot foothills with 400 square miles of Northumbrian landscape all around. It makes a romantic dog friendly getaway for a couple and one dog, with room for a third guest if needed.
The farmhouse kitchen and diner keeps its traditional barn character, with a Welsh dresser and a pine dining table, and the spacious lounge steps down from it to a wood burner and a TV. Once the fire is going, the dog will not be far from it. The bedroom has a four poster bed and an en suite shower room, and it opens straight out to the hot tub area.
Outside, the enclosed garden is a secure space for children and dogs alike, with a deck, garden furniture and a private hot tub.
