The Old Coach House dates to the 17th century, a detached former coach house a short walk from the centre of historic Sturminster Newton, converted with its original features. For a couple escaping with two dogs it is a lovely romantic retreat, and outside, this dog friendly hideaway keeps a large lawned garden, fully enclosed.

Floor to ceiling windows fill the lounge and diner with light, with comfortable seating and a TV, and the dogs settle in while the kettle goes on in the kitchen beyond. A staircase climbs from the lounge to the eaves, where the super king size bed sits beneath sloping ceilings and wooden beams, with an original circular window at either end of the room.
