Boots come off in the entrance hall, where there is also a WC with a washing machine. The contemporary kitchen has an open aspect into the lounge, with views across the open fields, and just off the kitchen is a reading room with cosy armchairs and garden views. Dogs are not allowed on the soft furnishings, so bring their own blankets, and a crate if they use one, for them to settle on.
The barn is all on one level, and its king size bedroom has its own en suite bathroom, a peaceful place to rest. The enclosed gardens lie to the rear of the barn, with a patio, table and chairs and an open aspect onto the countryside, and, as a house rule, dogs stay on a lead anywhere outside the exercise paddock.
