The kitchen sits off the entrance hall, the family bathroom next along the corridor, and that corridor opens into a large lounge and diner with a Smart TV and patio doors giving straight onto the enclosed garden. Four bedrooms and a second bathroom complete it. The garden belongs to the cottage alone, with the hot tub set in it, and two dogs can go out through those patio doors without anybody first checking whose ground it is.
A single level house for eight is genuinely unusual and it changes who can come. Grandparents, anybody recovering from something, and dogs that have stopped managing stairs are all suddenly on the guest list. The four other cottages on the farm can be booked alongside if the party runs larger, which makes this the anchor of a gathering rather than simply a cottage for one family.
Working farmland runs out in every direction and the lanes carry almost nothing. Ynyslas sits north at the mouth of the Dyfi with a dune system behind the beach and an estuary full of birds. The nearest sand going south is closer still. Two dogs will spend more of this week on farm tracks than on any marked path, which for most dogs is the better arrangement anyway.
