On the outskirts of Llanilar, a peaceful village 5 miles south of Aberystwyth, Wagtail Barn is a romantic and dog friendly barn where a couple can bring as many as three dogs. Woodland and countryside walks start from the front door, and the views from the garden reach out across secluded woodland.

The conversion was completed in 2022, and everything inside has a fresh, contemporary feel. You step into an open plan lounge and diner with a wood burner, logs ready for the first fire, and a Smart TV, with dining space for two and a contemporary kitchen equipped for a hearty breakfast or an evening meal on your return. After a day in the woods, three dogs and a lit wood burner make an evening nobody wants to end. A walk-in double shower sits on the ground floor, and the double bedroom, with a chaise lounge, is upstairs.
