The lounge floor is pammet, the old Norfolk clay tile, laid under beams that were in this cottage before either. It is hard, cool and long past caring what walks on it, which for one dog is the best possible news. That rule is the owners' own and the building agrees with it: the stairs out of the lounge are winders and no dog enjoys those. Downstairs holds the lounge with its seating and the dining end, and the kitchen through from that with a proper range of equipment in it. Above are a double with an original fireplace and a bunk room whose lower bunk is a queen, the upper one low enough overhead to be worth a look before anybody claims it.
Outside comes in two halves and only one of them counts. The rear one is the enclosed garden and it runs on two levels, with steps up to a raised gravelled area holding the furniture and the barbecue, so a dog that dislikes steps meets them inside the boundary rather than at it. The front is a lawn with shrubs up more steps and is not described as enclosed at all.
The village keeps a maritime museum and a 19th century flour mill, which is more history than a seaside street usually admits to. The cliffs behind the houses give the long view up and down this coast and the path along the top of them goes both ways. One dog gets cliff path from the door and a village with something in it besides sand.
