Amroth Beach

Amroth Beach is a pebble and sand beach at the village of Amroth at the eastern end of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where the Wales Coast Path begins. The beach and promenade are backed by a row of beach huts and holiday cottages, and at very low tides the remains of an ancient submerged forest are sometimes visible. The beach is the starting point for the full 186-mile Wales Coast Path through Pembrokeshire.
A partial dog ban applies at Amroth Beach and promenade from 1 May to 30 September, with dog-accessible sections remaining outside the restricted zone. Dogs must be on leads on the promenade during this period. Outside the restriction season, the full beach is open.
