Cwm yr Eglwys Beach
Pembrokeshire
Cwm yr Eglwys Beach is a small, sheltered sandy cove at the hamlet of Cwm-yr-Eglwys, where the ruins of a medieval church stand at the water's edge, largely destroyed in the Royal Charter storm of 1859. The ruined church and sheltered cove create one of the most atmospheric small beach settings in Pembrokeshire. The adjacent Dinas Island (actually a peninsula) is one of the finest coastal walks in north Pembrokeshire.
No restrictions at Cwm yr Eglwys. Year-round dog access. Combining the beach with the Dinas Island circular walk is outstanding.
