Newport Sands is a wide, beautiful sandy beach at the estuary of the River Nevern near the charming small town of Newport in north Pembrokeshire. The beach faces north across Newport Bay and is backed by dunes. The river crossing to the beach at low tide and the estuary setting give it a distinctive character. Newport is an exceptionally attractive small Pembrokeshire town with excellent cafes, pubs and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path on the doorstep.
