Longniddry Bents is a series of sandy and rocky beaches on the East Lothian coast, backed by dune grasslands and a coastal woodland planted in the 1950s. Multiple car parks along the A198 provide access to different sections of the beach, each offering a slightly different character. The beach is popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers, and the wide open sands at low tide are excellent for dog walking. The coastal grasslands and woodland add variety to any visit.

East Lothian Council confirmed to The Scotsman that there are no dog bans at Longniddry Bents. Year-round unrestricted dog access. Showering facilities are available at the car parks. This is one of the most reliably dog-friendly beaches in east Scotland.
