Piperdam Golf & Leisure Resort

Dundee, Angus

Yes. Dogs are welcome at Piperdam Golf & Leisure Resort, up to 2 dogs per booking.

Piperdam Golf & Leisure Resort is a lodge resort in 650 acres of Angus countryside near Dundee, with pet-friendly lodge options, views of Piperdam Loch and dogs welcome in the Room with a View Restaurant.

Away say dogs are more than welcome at Piperdam Golf & Leisure Resort, and that welcome reaches the restaurant as well as the lodges. This dog friendly resort is set in 650 acres of Angus countryside on the outskirts of Dundee, and its lodges come with views of Piperdam Loch.

Away describe a traditional lodge getaway here as a 'cabin in the woods' experience. Muirloch Lodge is a couples retreat for two with a private sauna and an outdoor hot tub, Raeburn and Galbraith each bring a private hot tub, Osprey Lodges sleep six across three bedrooms, and The Braveheart sleeps 12 with a games room of its own. Alongside the traditional and hot tub lodges there are pet-friendly options, and booking one of those gives the dog a Scottish lodge to settle into at the end of each day.

The Room with a View Restaurant is where the dog joins in. Furry friends are welcome, the menu runs through breakfast, lunch and dinner with Piperdam Loch in view, and there is Sky Sports, a pool table and live entertainment every Wednesday at 6:30 pm and Saturday at 7 pm. Away say many of the facilities allow dogs as well as the lodges. The resort itself has 18 and 9 hole golf courses, crazy golf, bike hire, an indoor pool, a gym, the Admire Spa & Beauty Rooms and a shop with local produce and gifts.

Dundee is only 10 minutes away. Further out, Glamis Castle, the legendary setting for Shakespeare's Macbeth and the childhood home of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, and Scone Palace, the crowning place of Scottish kings, are each between 20 and 45 minutes' drive, and Away list certain areas of both as dog friendly.
