St Helens Coastal Resort

Ryde, Isle of Wight

Yes. Dogs are welcome at St Helens Coastal Resort, up to 2 dogs per booking.

St Helens Coastal Resort is a peaceful Isle of Wight park of lodges and caravans near Ryde, where dogs are allowed in the lodges and caravans and several pubs with dog friendly areas are less than 10 minutes' drive.

Just across the waters of the Solent, St Helens Coastal Resort brings a peaceful caravan and lodge getaway to St Helens, near Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Ask Away if it is dog friendly and the answer is yes: dogs are allowed in the lodges and caravans, and when they say there is something for the entire family, they mean the entire family.

The caravans come in Luxury and Superior grades, all modern, with light and airy open plan living spaces, fully equipped kitchens and decking for soaking up the outdoors, and the Luxury Caravans have hot tub options. Lodges run from Superior and Luxury to the Indulgent Rooftop Lodge, whose rooftop sun terrace Away like to think of as a sky lounge, and both the lodges and the caravans welcome dogs.

Days here belong to the island, with loads of scenic walks to enjoy and the beach close by, and on park there is a seasonal outdoor heated pool and an adventure playground for the children. Four-legged family members are welcome at Guest Services and in the Holiday Home Sales office. For dinner, The Vine Inn on the village green, The Pilot Boat Inn near Bembridge Harbour, The Old Fort overlooking the Solent and The Yarbridge Inn are each less than 10 minutes' drive, with certain areas of each dog friendly.

Sandown, with its golden sandy beaches, esplanade and pier, is less than 10 minutes away and dog friendly, as are Ryde, Shanklin and Newport. Away also list Shanklin Chine, Blackgang Chine, Godshill Model Village, the Isle of Wight Steam Railway and The Needles Park as dog friendly, and certain areas of Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle welcome dogs too.
