1 / 8The Chesterfield Mayfair
Westminster, London
Yes. Dogs can stay in selected rooms, up to 2 dogs per room.
A Mayfair hotel on Charles Street where dogs get beds in several sizes, a food menu cooked in the kitchens and a pet concierge to call ahead.
The Chesterfield Mayfair stands on Charles Street, a brief walk from Bond Street and Hyde Park, with a polished marble lobby and 94 deluxe rooms and 14 suites behind it. A pet concierge is on hand to talk to before you arrive, which tells you what sort of dog friendly hotel this is.
A number of the room types take dogs, so contact the reservations team for more information. Those rooms hold two small dogs, or one of medium or large size. The hotel's pet services list beds in various sizes, food and water bowls, treats and toys and a turndown treat. Pet sitting and dog walking can be booked with 48 hours' notice, and there is a grooming service. Outside the room dogs go on a lead, and they are not to be left unattended.
Butlers, the hotel's fine dining room, is open to dogs, and the kitchen asks only that you mention the dog when you book a table. Dover sole is filleted at your table, the smoked salmon comes from H. Forman & Son, and roasted Orkney scallops and Devonshire chicken sit on a menu of organic British ingredients. Your dog eats from a menu of its own, cooked in the same kitchens.
The hotel lists an Award of Excellence from the Afternoon Tea Awards, and calls its Sweetshop Afternoon Tea award winning, and there is a rooftop bar, Stanley's, above Mayfair as well as Sem's of Mayfair for cocktails and fine wines. For the dog, the hotel has a map of the parks and walks nearby. Holland Park Woodland and Kyoto Garden Circular is 2.4 miles off on our map.
Facts checked October 2026 from the hotel's own website. Details can change, so please confirm anything important, especially the dog rules, with the hotel before you book.
