1 / 8The Langham, London
Westminster, London
Yes. Dogs can stay overnight, up to 1 dog per room.
A grand five star hotel on Portland Place with two Michelin Keys, where one dog up to 20kg joins you in The Wigmore for pub food.
The Langham opened on Portland Place in 1865, in the heart of the West End, and more than 160 years later it holds two Michelin Keys. The dog friendly hotel lines are drawn clearly: one dog per room or suite, up to 20kg, on a lead in public areas.
Dogs are never to be left unattended in a guestroom. The one exception the hotel sets out is while you are dining in one of its restaurants or bars, with Langham Service told first. Which rooms take dogs, and what is put out for them, the hotel doesn't say, so ask reservations.
The Wigmore takes dogs, a modern British pub and bar in a former banking hall where the beer runs from cask ales to a house saison, and so does Sale e Pepe Mare, Italian and seafood-led, with crudo, pasta and a signature Milanese. Dogs are not permitted in the other restaurants or the spa, which is down to local regulations. Palm Court pours The Langham Afternoon Tea, and Artesian is the cocktail room.
Chuan Spa is a quiet place to recentre, and the 16m indoor pool was once a bank vault, with steam rooms and a sauna after. Highgate Wood and Queen's Wood Circular, 4.4 miles out on Wildpack's map, is the dog's day in the woods.
Facts checked October 2026 from the hotel's own website. Details can change, so please confirm anything important, especially the dog rules, with the hotel before you book.
