Falmouth, Cornwall
Yes. Dogs can stay in selected rooms, up to 2 dogs per room.
A family run hotel at Maenporth near Falmouth, where dogs join you in the bar for breakfast and dinner, with towels, blankets and bowls on hand.
Trelawne Hotel is a family run Cornish hotel at Maenporth, near Falmouth, kept by the same family for 49 years and now with three generations involved. It is a dog friendly hotel in a coastal and rural location, with rooms looking out to sea or over the countryside, and Maenporth Beach, 0.5 miles away, is the closest beach Wildpack marks as dog friendly.
Well behaved dogs stay in a selection of bedrooms, two to a room at most. Some rooms are kept free of dogs for guests with allergies, so let the hotel know about your dog at booking. Towels, blankets and bowls can all be provided, along with a local dog walking guide for exploring together. The policy doesn't state if a dog can stay behind in the room while you're out, so ask before you travel.
Dogs aren't taken into the Hutches restaurant, where food is served; instead they come to your table in the bar, and breakfast and dinner can both be enjoyed there. The kitchen holds an AA rosette, and its daily changing menu is built on fresh, local ingredients, with fish and seafood delivered fresh from St Ives and Newlyn and meat from the local butchers at Stithians. The bar is well stocked with local Cornish gins, beers and ciders.
Outdoor tennis courts and a terrace are there between outings. When your dog needs a longer walk, Helford River Circular Walk, from Wildpack's own collection, is 2.4 miles from the hotel.
Facts checked October 2026 from the hotel's own website. Details can change, so please confirm anything important, especially the dog rules, with the hotel before you book.
