Coastlands is a five star detached house in the coastal village of Oxwich, a short walk from the sandy beach, with room for eight. Two dogs are welcome, and with an enclosed private garden that has its very own breeze house, this is dog friendly accommodation where the evenings carry on outdoors.
The large rear garden is enclosed, with a large patio, a lawn area and a barbecue. The breeze house is the place to chat long into the night, kept snug by an overhead electric heater and lights, while the dogs doze close by. The garden borders the renowned marshlands, so there is plenty of wildlife to enjoy, and the dogs will take a keen interest in all of it.
Inside, boots come off in the hallway, and double doors open into a beautiful lounge with an exposed stone fireplace, a wood burner, a beamed ceiling, a TV and gaming station, and French doors to the garden. The open plan kitchen and diner is made for a large family gathering. A ground floor king size bedroom sits alongside a separate WC, and upstairs are a super king master with an en suite, two twin zip and link rooms and a family bathroom. The owners ask that dogs are not left unattended unless crated, and a dog crate and stair gates are available.
The golden sands and dunes of Oxwich Bay are within walking distance, so the dogs' first walk of the day needs no car, with restaurants right on the beach. Gower is popular with surfers, walkers and cyclists, caves, castles and a lighthouse are within easy reach, and Mumbles has independent shops and eateries.
