This dog friendly lodge sleeps two and welcomes one dog, and guests are free to explore the estate along its established tracks through woodland, open garden areas and the surrounding countryside.
You come in through the kitchen, fully fitted with an oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, and on into a spacious, bright lounge and diner with a wood burner, logs included, and a TV, the dog settling by the fire as soon as it is lit. The king size bedroom opens from the lounge and offers a comfortable space to unwind, and in the bathroom there is a bath with a shower over it.
At the rear is a lovely mature garden with a seating area, set amid the estate's grounds, and it is a fine spot for stargazing and for watching deer and birdlife with the dog beside you. The estate is close to the A92, so care is to be taken with your dog when you are out exploring.
Ladybank's championship golf course is 2 miles away, one of more than 50 courses within 25 miles that include the Old Course, and the historic town of St Andrews is within easy reach.
