Spacious and beautiful, this dog friendly cottage welcomes six guests with two dogs, and muddy days are covered: the entrance hall takes coats and shoes, and the owner notes that the ground floor shower room beside it is where you can quickly rinse any muddy paws.
The kitchen is the heart of the home, vibrant with modern coloured units. One way from it is the living room, with warm colour accents, unique furniture pieces with a nod to history, comfortable modern seating and a multi fuel burner. The dining room has a second multi fuel burner, seating for everyone to dine and soft seating of its own, so the dogs have two fires to choose between.
Upstairs is a family wing: a king, which can be made up as a twin, with an adjoining dressing room that has room for the travel cot, a twin room, and the master with its own en suite. A roll top bath in the family bathroom comes with countryside views. Patio doors from the living and dining rooms open onto the enclosed garden. To the front are bench seating and a large lawn with fruit trees and far reaching country views, and at the back dining benches catch the sun while the dogs roam.
Horncastle, 7 miles away, is famous for antiques, and Louth is a Georgian market town with The Cheese Shop. Lincoln, Woodhall Spa and the blue flag beaches at Mablethorpe all make good days out, and on the days in between the dogs have the walks from the door.
