Fell Foot is perched on a gentle rise overlooking Esthwaite Water, and from the conservatory the panoramic views run right across the lake. Sleeping four just south of Hawkshead, in the heart of the Lake District, this dog friendly cottage welcomes two small dogs, with a wood burner for cosy nights and the village close at hand.
In the lounge, comfy chairs surround the wood burner, with a satellite TV and a Wi-Fi music system, and the two dogs soon find their place by the fire. The conservatory beyond has comfortable chairs for every time of day and those views across the lake, while the contemporary open plan kitchen and dining area has a range cooker, a coffee pod machine and an oak dining table.
A separate utility room is the place to store outdoor gear after a day cycling or walking on the fells, and there is a garage with room for bikes. The master bedroom has a super king zip and link bed and an en suite shower, the second is a double, and both enjoy splendid countryside views. Windermere and Ambleside are a short drive for browsing the shops, hiring a boat or taking a leisure cruise, and Coniston has the Ruskin Museum.
