Book now

Priory Bay and Seagrove Bay, two tranquil, sandy beaches, are a short walk from Iona Cottage, and the coastal path beyond leads on to St Helens and Bembridge, with two dogs welcome on every outing. This delightful detached house in the New England style is tasteful and bright, and a dog friendly holiday home for up to eight in the charming Edwardian resort of Seaview.

Through an attractive entrance hall is a spacious lounge, where a combined pool and air-hockey table stands beside comfy seating and a Smart TV, so the games start on the first evening. The dining area opens through patio doors to the terrace, the fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar, and a second lounge offers another Smart TV and a quieter corner, where everyone can settle in with the dogs.

Downstairs there is a cosy double bedroom with French doors opening into the garden and an en suite, and a beautiful staircase winds up from the lounge to three more: a twin, a double, and the main bedroom, king-size, which has a dressing area, a mezzanine and an en suite, plus a bathroom with a corner bath. To the rear, the garden is fenced and gated, with a terrace beside the house for dining by the BBQ, a large lawn up a few steps and a raised patio above it. The dogs make for the lawn while the BBQ heats.

Seaview has its own shops and cafes, and a walk along the seafront leads into Ryde, a seaside resort with traditional seaside entertainments. Havenstreet Steam Railway, Robin Hill Adventure Park and Osborne House, Queen Victoria's island home, are all nearby, and the coastal path gives the dogs a beautiful stretch of shoreline to explore.
