Flip flops, coats and boots all get shed in the entrance hall, and the inviting lounge beyond has a wooden floor and a bright interior for a film or music through the iPod dock. The kitchen is light and spacious, with a window over the sink and cookbooks for inspiration, and it opens into the dining area, where French doors flood the table with light and lead out to the decking. Three dogs back from the dunes find the whole family gathered round that table.
Upstairs, a tranquil double has its own shower room, another double has a tall chest of drawers, and the single comes with a reading spotlight and plenty of storage, all sharing a contemporary bathroom.
