Walks begin straight from the doorstep at Olive Cottage, a delightful former piggery that belonged long ago to the historic Enys Estate, close to the waterside town of Penryn. Renovated to a high standard around many original features, this dog friendly home sleeps four, and its one canine guest gets a garden that is fully enclosed, ideal for dogs.
It stands in a courtyard setting, and a stable door opens from the courtyard into a wonderfully cosy space under a vaulted ceiling, lounge, kitchen and diner all in one. Before the wood burner sit two very comfortable sofas, with a Smart TV for films; double doors lead from the lounge to the garden, and the beautiful kitchen has everything needed for a feast after a day out exploring with the dog.
The king size bedroom has a built in wardrobe and a full length mirror, the twin lies at the far end of the building, and the shower room houses the washing machine. Outside, a spacious terrace is set for dining alfresco, a charcoal BBQ available on request, and the dog explores the enclosed garden while supper cooks. Stay over Christmas and you will find the place decorated.
