Ride The Wave is a contemporary house in the heart of Aberdyfi, on the northern edge of the Dyfi Estuary where the mountains meet the sea. This dog friendly house takes six guests with a single dog, and from its feature windows and balcony the views run across the tidal estuary and out over Cardigan Bay.

The hall opens to the kitchen and diner, where a five ring gas hob and a wine rack sit alongside a dining table set by the window, so every meal comes with the estuary. Next door is the spacious lounge, with its wood burner, comfortable seating, a Smart TV and doors out to the balcony, where the evening ends in sundowners, the dog sprawled by the chairs. There is a dog guard for the top of the stairs.

The four bedrooms are on the lower ground floor, and every one of them wakes to the sea: a super king that opens to the garden and has an en suite, a king size also en suite, a double, and a twin, plus a bathroom with underfloor heating. Outside there is a paved patio, shaded by the balcony above, and a lawn, and the lower garden is enclosed, which is where the dog does its exploring. To the side of the house there is a wash down area for bikes and a place to dry wetsuits, with storage for bikes, paddleboards and canoes.

The golden sandy beach is close, along with sea swimming, sailing and the championship links golf course. Aberdyfi has a thriving harbour, cafes and independent shops, and Craig yr Aderyn and Dolgoch Falls are both within 15 miles for a day in Snowdonia with the dog.
