Riverbank House sleeps twelve at Relubbus, five star and dog friendly, a few miles from St Ives, Hayle and Penzance, with everything inside arranged on one floor. Three dogs come too, and the gardens are the kind a party plans its days around, with a BBQ lodge, a covered hot tub, a play area and lawns front and back.
In the spacious, luxurious lounge, a wood burner and Sonos speakers set the evening, and sliding doors open onto the back garden and patio. The snug is the quiet room, with high back chairs and shelves of books, and the kitchen and diner, with its double oven and wine cooler, opens onto the front patio. The utility room by the kitchen takes the shoes and coats after a walk with three dogs.
The bedrooms are individually designed. The master king opens through French doors onto a patio of its own in the main garden, two doubles have en suites, one with a jacuzzi bath, and two twins and a bunk room share the main bathroom. The games room has James Bond wall art and a full size pool table. Outside, the enclosed side garden is landscaped with colourful shrubs and flowers, the rear garden has the BBQ kitchen, a rattan dining set and the Hunters Lodge with its gas BBQ, and three dogs find the big lawn as good for ball games as the children do.
Three dogs have the beach 3 miles off and the wild beauty of the South West Coast Path. Mullion, Poldhu Cove and the fishing village of Porthleven are along the coast, and the Minack Theatre, the Tate at St Ives and the National Seal Sanctuary are all within reach.
