Riverside is a splendid contemporary house in a secluded spot at Bushmills, five star dog friendly accommodation for eight with three dogs welcome. It sits on an elevated site overlooking rolling countryside, with a private field leading down to a river, and the Giant's Causeway is within 2 miles.
An illuminated private lane brings you to the door. The spacious kitchen and diner is full of light from floor to ceiling windows, with a large TV, a table for eight and a French door onto the decking. The bright lounge has a lofty vaulted ceiling, dual aspect windows and Chesterfields set before a large wood burner, a fine place for three dogs to stretch out after the coast. A cosy snug sits off the hallway, and upstairs are two super kings and two doubles, one with an en suite and walk in wardrobe.
The lit wraparound decking has a Weber barbecue, two sun loungers and outdoor dining for eight. The decking is enclosed only when its gates are shut: close and lock them and the field, river and stream are closed off, so the dogs can relax on the decking with you. Steps lead down to a lawn and the private field running to the river, with a wooded area and a stream to the side, and the owners ask guests to keep an eye on children and pets near the water.
The garage has generous storage for kayaks and bikes, and three dogs are ideally placed for exploring the North Antrim coast. Portrush Whiterocks Beach, 3 miles away, is a glorious spot to surf and swim, and Ballintoy Harbour, Dunluce Castle, the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge and the Old Bushmills Distillery are all along the Causeway coastal route.
