Riverside is a contemporary ground floor apartment in an attractive farmhouse, set among arable farmland in the heart of Cornwall's old tin mining country and only a mile from Marazion and St Michael's Mount. Two dogs are welcome, more by arrangement, and with routes leading off from the doorstep, keen walkers will find it a dog friendly place to stay.
The accommodation spreads across the ground floor in one spacious, open plan sweep. At one end the kitchen is contemporary and bright, with wooden flooring and seats for four at the table, while at the other the cosy lounge has exposed ceiling beams, comfortable seating, including a bed settee for an extra guest, a Smart TV and a hi-fi. After a long day out, it is an inviting room for two dogs to stretch out in. Next door, the en suite king size bedroom is spacious and bright, with a large window looking out on the garden.
Outside is a beautiful enclosed garden with a large lawn, furniture and a BBQ. The owner pictures an evening BBQ out there with the dogs enjoying the space around you, and that is exactly how the days tend to end.
A good stroll from the doorstep leads into Marazion for a hearty pub lunch, art galleries and independent shops, and the beach is 1 mile away for walks with the dogs. A short drive reaches the golden sands at Hayle, loved by surfers, and St Ives is just across the bay for an afternoon of browsing.
