Throw another log on, enjoy the glow on your toes, and let the dogs take the warm spot by the fire after a day on the hills.
The three bedrooms, two doubles, one with a smart en suite shower room, and a twin, all have crisp, fresh cotton bedding, plenty of storage and lovely views, and the family bathroom, with its bath, completes the house. Loch Linnhe is wild, open country, with walks on a sandy beach nearby and bike rides from the front door, and boat trips on the loch go looking for dolphins, seals, red deer and golden eagles. Fort William is 15 miles north, beneath Ben Nevis, with outdoor activity centres and The Jacobite steam train to Mallaig, and the dogs come home from every outing to their enclosed lawn and the fire.
