Station Cottage is one of a row of former railway worker cottages on the edge of Winchelsea, in a beautiful setting with panoramic countryside views. It is a dog friendly retreat for four people and one dog, with footpaths across the High Weald for the walking and a fully enclosed, lawned garden for the hours in between.
Inside, the living spaces are chic and airy, with large windows that let the light pour in. The cosy lounge has a wood burner, with a first basket of logs to start it, and a Smart TV, and on night one the dog claims the spot in front of the fire. The light and bright kitchen has spectacular views and a dining area alongside, and the garden room that links the lounge and kitchen is the crowning glory, with a set of binoculars for watching the local wildlife over a morning coffee.
Upstairs are a king size bedroom and a bunk room, sharing a walk in shower room. Outside, the spacious lawned garden is one that children and dogs will love playing in, and the gravelled patio has seating and a charcoal BBQ for meals outside.
