This dog friendly lodge sleeps four with one dog, and its large enclosed patio, a safe haven for children and dogs, has a private hot tub looking out to sea.
Inside, one spacious open plan room for lounging, cooking and dining has a wood burner, a Smart TV and a Bluetooth speaker, and magnificent views through the patio doors, which open straight out to the hot tub. The bespoke kitchen runs to a wine cooler, the dining table keeps the views in sight, and the dog curls up by the wood burner after a day out exploring.
Both bedrooms are light, bright super-kings, convertible to twins on request, each with a Smart TV. The first has an en suite bathroom with underfloor heating, a bath and a separate shower, and patio doors with sea views; the second has an en suite shower room, also with underfloor heating, and views over the sea and countryside. Outside there is a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining, and evenings end with stargazing from the hot tub while the dog keeps you company.
The pretty coastal town of Anstruther is close at hand, with its harbour and the fascinating Scottish Fisheries Museum, and boat trips run out to the Isle of May National Nature Reserve. Cycle routes pass at the end of the road, the Fife Coastal Path offers excellent walking with the dog, and the beach is 2 miles away. St Andrews, the home of golf and the Old Course, is within easy reach.
