Eglwysbach, Conwy
A cottage for three in the heart of Eglwysbach, near Bodnant and Conwy, with a conservatory, a hot tub and a fully enclosed lawned garden, two dogs welcome.
In the heart of Eglwysbach village, at the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, The Tardis is a dog friendly hideaway for three people and two dogs. Its garden, fully enclosed, holds lawn, well stocked borders and a hot tub, and both dogs will be exploring it before the bags are through the door.
You step into a cosy dining room with a traditional Welsh dresser and a feature fireplace, the place for a hearty breakfast. Past the bright bathroom on the ground floor, the well equipped galley kitchen leads through to the spacious conservatory, where there are comfy seats, Netflix on the TV, and access to the garden and a secret courtyard. Afternoon tea happens here, with the dogs keeping an eye on the lawn.
Across the courtyard, the utility room holds a washing machine, a tumble dryer, drying racks, a sink and oodles of space for boots, coats and activity gear, and there is storage for bikes and a canoe too. The double and single bedrooms both have garden views. Evenings belong out there: the barbecue lit, the table set for dinner with the views, sunloungers out, the hot tub warm and two dogs settled on the lawn after a long day.
This is walking and cycling country, from gentle strolls to challenging climbs in the Snowdonia mountains, and the dogs have a huge variety of dog friendly, unspoilt sandy beaches to choose from. The gardens at Bodnant are close by, Conwy, a World Heritage Site, has a castle, town walls and a fishing harbour, and Llandudno its Victorian seafront. The RSPB reserve, Zip World, Surf Snowdonia and the Welsh Food Centre fill the other days.

Is The Tardis dog friendly?
Yes, The Tardis is fully dog friendly and actually comes with two dogs of its own. The garden and secret courtyard beyond it are fully enclosed, so your dogs have space to roam without you worrying about the open front gardens that are typical of the village.
Are dogs allowed at The Tardis year round?
The listing doesn't specify any seasonal restrictions, and nothing in the property setup suggests otherwise. If you want to confirm availability for specific dates, it's worth checking directly with the owners, who live on site.
What should I know before visiting The Tardis with my dog?
The fully enclosed garden and courtyard make it a good base for dogs, and the separate utility room across the courtyard is a genuine practical bonus — it has a sink, drying racks and floor space specifically suited to muddy boots and wet dogs after a walk. The surrounding area offers two contrasting walks: flat riverside going towards Tal-y-Cafn and the tidal marshes, and steeper woodland in the other direction, so dogs with different energy levels are well catered for.
