Moffat Manor Holiday Resort

Moffat, Dumfries and Galloway

Yes. Dogs are welcome at Moffat Manor Holiday Resort, up to 2 dogs per booking.

Moffat Manor Holiday Resort is a caravan and lodge park set in 80 acres of Scottish countryside at Beattock, Moffat, in Dumfries and Galloway, with dog-friendly caravans and a tavern that welcomes dogs.

Open the caravan door at Moffat Manor Holiday Resort and there are 80 acres of Scottish countryside waiting for you and the dog. Away set this Dumfries and Galloway park in wooded surroundings and promise country walks for you and your dog to enjoy, and with a range of dog friendly caravans, it makes a relaxed dog friendly base in southern Scotland.

Choose a Comfort, Superior or Luxury caravan, or a Luxury or Superior lodge, with room for anywhere from two to eight. Away describe the two and three bedroom caravans as having open plan living areas with French doors onto wrap around decking, and the Luxury Caravans come with heating throughout, double glazing and towels. From May to August there are grass and electric pitches for touring and camping, and the dog is welcome on those too.

Dogs are allowed inside the Lakeside Tavern. It is one of the venues Away list for their special doggy menu, serves a hot drink after a day out exploring or a chilled glass of wine with light bites, offers takeaway, and needs no booking. Dogs are welcome in the Village Store and Guest Services too, fishing on the park is free, and there is a lake to spread a picnic beside.

Away list plenty of dog friendly places close by. Moffat Town, less than 10 minutes' drive, welcomes dogs, as do The Black Bull Inn, established in 1568 and linked to Robert Burns, and The Coachman Bar. Further out, Grey Mare's Tail, a 60-metre hanging valley waterfall, the Devil's Beef Tub, St Mary's Loch and the Southern Upland Way are all marked dog friendly.
