Filey, North Yorkshire
Yes. Dogs are welcome at The Bay Filey Holiday Village, up to 2 dogs per booking.
The Bay Filey Holiday Village is a holiday resort on the Yorkshire coast near Filey, with pet friendly accommodation, direct beach access and dogs welcome in John Paul Jones and The Four Cats.
Where the meadows meet the North Yorkshire Sea, The Bay Filey Holiday Village is a holiday resort of beach houses, cottages and lodges on the Yorkshire coast, and you can even bring along your four-legged friend. It is open all year round, with a variety of pet friendly accommodation types, so a dog friendly Yorkshire getaway can happen whenever you like.
The beach houses take their cue from the coast, in a laidback New England style, while the cottages are open plan holiday homes for between two and ten guests, made for a BBQ with friends and family. The Exclusive range adds the Meadow Lakeside Lodge, with lakeside views over North Yorkshire, and the Exclusive Seaview Cottage with its panoramic sea views, and some cottages and lodges have private hot tubs. Pick one of the pet friendly types and the dog comes too.
Both places to eat on the village let dogs in, as does Guest Services. John Paul Jones, the bar and eatery, serves popular dishes and daily specials and shows the Away Resorts LIVE entertainment stream, and The Four Cats brings hand stretched stone-baked pizzas to a table in the cafe or on the outdoor seating area, with a beer, wine or crafted cocktail. For the rest of the party there is an indoor swimming pool, a gym and a sauna and steam room.
Filey Beach, a seven mile sweep of golden sands, is dog friendly, less than 10 minutes' drive away, and Away call it great for long walks with the dog. The White Lodge, on the edge of Filey's Victorian Crescent, has a dog-friendly terrace, The Piebald Inn in Hunmanby and The Royal Oak welcome dogs, and Filey, Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, pooches included, are all listed as dog friendly.
