Denbies Vineyard Hotel

Dorking, Surrey

Yes. Dogs can stay in selected rooms.

A seventeen room hotel on a Surrey wine estate outside Dorking, where the dog rooms are on the ground floor of The Brokes, by the vineyard trails.

Denbies Vineyard Hotel stands in the middle of Denbies Wine Estate just outside Dorking, seventeen en-suite rooms split between The Farmhouse, built in the 1850s, and the more contemporary Brokes beside it. A dog friendly hotel where the dog's half of the holiday is obvious: step outside and seven miles of public footpaths run through 265 acres of vines, woodland and open hillsides.

The Pooch Package puts a comfortable dog bed, towels, bowls and treats in the room, and those rooms are on the ground floor of The Brokes, which gives easy access straight onto the vineyard trails. Around the estate, dogs are welcome on the grounds.

The Wine Library Brasserie & Bar is the restaurant, with a floor-to-ceiling wine wall of Denbies vintages dating back to 1993, brasserie cooking beside estate-grown wine, afternoon tea and dinner daily. Dog numbers and dogs left alone in a room are both things the hotel doesn't mention, so ask the team.

Many rooms look out across the vines and the surrounding hills, and the Surrey Hills Greenway Trail starts on the doorstep. Ranmore Common and Denbies Vineyard Walk is 1.6 miles from here on our map, with Norbury Park and Druids Grove from Westhumble 0.9 miles off for a dog that has had enough of vines.

Facts checked October 2026 from the hotel's own website. Details can change, so please confirm anything important, especially the dog rules, with the hotel before you book.
