Dogs stay in the Garden Wing, in the Superior Balcony or Deluxe rooms, two of them at most, depending on size. Beds and bowls can be provided, along with a welcome pack holding treats and waste bags. In the public areas dogs are kept on a lead and under control, and the hotel asks that dogs do not sleep on the beds or the furniture. A dog can be left unaccompanied in the room briefly, provided they are secure and unlikely to disturb other guests.
Dogs do not come into the Park Brasserie, where the kitchen is open to the room, though assistance dogs are permitted; dinner can be laid under the heated pergolas outside, in the Stirling Lounge or in your own room. The brasserie cooks regional produce and holds one AA Rosette, running from lunch and afternoon light bites to a Sunday roast with homemade Yorkshire puddings.
Luxury Rooms in the Main House keep their wooden beams and sash windows; the Garden Wing rooms are contemporary, some with a balcony over the parkland. Out in the park, mind your dog near the lake and the fountain: the hotel asks that dogs do not swim in the lake.
