The fire here runs on gas, which sounds like a small thing and is not. Come in off this shore with two wet dogs and there is nothing to lay, nothing to light and nothing to wait out. Four sleep in a double and a bunk room, and the living space is one open room rather than three small ones, kitchen at one end and seating pulled round in front of that fire. The sand runs quietly the whole 2.2 miles and empties once you are past the last of the houses.
