Bryn Gloch Caravan and Camping Park is a family friendly, dog friendly site at the base of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), along the banks of the River Gwyrfai at Betws Garmon. Pitches run from grass tent pitches facing Mynydd Mawr and Moel Eilio to fully serviced hardstanding, alongside static caravans, shepherd's huts, a deluxe pod and a holiday home. Dogs can stay in the Aran and Tryfan static caravans, the Elen, Gelert and Owain shepherd's huts and the Siwan pod, and the shop sells dog food.
Up to two dogs per unit are welcome, or more at the management's discretion if you check in advance, with a nightly charge per dog. They are kept on a lead on site, with fouling cleared up straight away, and there is a dog walking area on the park for them to enjoy. The Snowdon Ranger Path, which climbs from the shores of Llyn Cwellyn, is within easy reach, and the grassy ridge of Mynydd Mawr from Rhyd Ddu makes a quieter morning out.
